I just tried to sign up, but it doesn't seem to work. Looks like it's loading, but nothing happens for about 10 minutes or something... Is this normal or is something wrong?

No this is not normal. You are correct, we have been getting an overwhelming response, the number of users of Pair exploded overnight beyond our expectations. Our servers are having troubles keeping up, but we are working on making it much better. Things should improve significantly in the next few days, with a much smother and faster experience.
Did you try to register again?

Hi, I have an iphone 4 running on ios 4.0.1. I downloaded the app and it crashes everytime I try to open it. I already tried the delete-reinstall method but it won't work. Also tried to reboot my phone but still not working. Help?

Since last night, may 7, 2012, when I try to open the application, it will just sit there for about 5 minutes and then closes by itself (crashing ?). I tried logging out and in and reinstalling the app but it keeps doing the same thing... will stay with the loading indicator for a while and then crashes... takes me to home screen.
It might be that there are too many messages and I've just hit a limit or something.
Please advise.

I am having the same problem as Chris Reese. This happened before and after the most recent iOS update. My girlfriend does not have the problem. She has the iPhone 4 and I have the iPhone 3GS.
A quick note to everyone who is having trouble with the app loading on 3GS and then crashing. We released an update (v1.1.0) which should make loading an existing timeline on 3GS much smoother. If you're still having a crash after a timeline load, please let us know and we will investigate further. Thanks!
